Connect Billplz to Shopify

Billplz integrates with Shopify through a dedicated payment app. Once connected, your Shopify store accepts FPX, card, and e-wallet payments via Billplz — all managed from your Shopify admin.
Shopify transactions incur an additional 0.30% fee per transaction, deducted from your Billplz Credit Balance. This applies to all payment methods and is separate from your standard Billplz transaction fees. See Billplz Credit: overview for details.
Before you begin
- You need an activated Billplz account with at least one active collection. A collection is where your payments are grouped — if you have not created one yet, see Create a Collection ID
- You need an active Shopify store with admin access
- Your Billplz Credit Balance must have sufficient funds to cover the 0.30% Shopify fee
- Activate the payment methods you want to offer (FPX, card, e-wallet) on your Billplz account first — only activated payment methods appear in Shopify
Step 1: Submit your store domain
Where: Billplz dashboard
Go to Settings > Keys & Integration and scroll down to Shopify Application. Enter your Shopify store domain (e.g., yourstorename.myshopify.com) and click Install App.
You are redirected to Shopify.

Step 2: Install the Billplz app
Where: Shopify admin
Review the app permissions and click Install.
You are redirected back to Billplz.

Step 3: Enter your Collection ID
Where: Billplz dashboard
You land on the Shopify Account section. Enter the Collection ID you want to use for this Shopify store and click Update.
You are redirected back to Shopify.

Step 4: Enable payment methods and activate
Where: Shopify admin
You land on the Billplz payment settings page in your Shopify admin (under Settings > Payments). Toggle on the payment methods you want to accept on your Shopify store. Only payment methods you have activated on your Billplz account are available.
Click Activate to complete the setup.

After activation, the Activate button changes to Save (for future changes) and Uninstall changes to Deactivate.

Step 5: Test the connection
Toggle on Test mode at the bottom of the Billplz payment settings page in Shopify. Place a test order on your store to confirm payments are processed correctly, then toggle Test mode off when you're ready to go live.
